CreatorPhoto 3.0: A Windows Photo Organizer, Editor & Collage Studio

I'm AdamYang, an independent Windows app developer. CreatorPhoto 3.0 is the latest major update to my photo organization, editing, and collage application, now available on Microsoft Store.

The goal is simple: make the small tasks around a folder of photos easier to complete in one workspace. Renaming files, preparing images for a platform, adding a watermark, and building a collage often require several separate steps.

Here's a walkthrough using the actual English interface.

Put photos in order before batch renaming

Import multiple photos, inspect the thumbnails and live preview, and drag photos into the order you want. You can also sort by filename or modification date.

Choose a filename prefix, starting number, and number of digits, then check the proposed filenames before processing. This helps keep a set of photos consistently named without having to rename each file manually.

Resize for a platform, then crop or add padding

Choose a common platform size preset, keep the original dimensions, or enter a custom width and height. Width and height can be adjusted independently, with an aspect-ratio lock when needed. Apply settings to one photo or across the imported set.

For a different composition, drag the crop selection's edges and corners directly in the live preview. If you want to keep the entire photo, use padding instead of cropping.

Place watermarks and choose an output format

Add a text watermark or use your own image as a Logo watermark. Adjust its opacity, position, and size, including dragging and resizing directly in the preview. Individual photos can have different watermark settings.

CreatorPhoto supports JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP, TIFF, and GIF. Format conversion can be combined with resizing, cropping, and watermarking in the same workflow.

Create collages in a dedicated Studio

Version 3.0 includes Collage Studio with 10 layouts: Free Collage, two-photo side-by-side and top/bottom arrangements, four-photo and six-photo layouts, main-photo combinations, and a 3×3 grid.

The controls are direct: click to add photos, drag to position them, use a slider or the mouse wheel to resize, and press Delete to remove the selected image.

For example, after preparing a group of product photos, you can combine a few into a collage rather than opening another editor.

Choose a background image or a solid color, including a precise HEX value. Canvas proportions and grid spacing are adjustable, and you can choose an output folder when saving the collage.

Designed for local Windows workflows

Photo editing and collage creation take place locally on your Windows computer. Flexible saving options let you preserve originals, create a separate output folder, or explicitly choose to modify original files.

The interface supports English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, with dark, light, and pink appearance themes.

RatePeek v1.2: Multiple Currency Conversion Windows and Clipboard-Assisted Workflow for Windows

I've released RatePeek v1.2, an update to my Windows exchange-rate utility, RatePeek | Exchange Rate Window. I'm AdamYang, its independent developer.

If you're comparing an overseas shop price with a spreadsheet or checking several currencies while working, the calculation itself is often the easy part. Reopening a converter and retyping the next amount creates the interruption. This update focuses on keeping those currency checks beside the work you're already doing.

A desktop reference at a glance

RatePeek brings commonly used exchange rates, quick amount conversion, Convert to All, additional currency lookup, and reference information for gold, silver, platinum and palladium into one Windows utility. A floating desktop HUD keeps useful information visible.

You can also look up additional currencies by country, currency name or code.

What's new in v1.2

Up to five quick conversion windows

You can open up to five Quick Conversion Windows. Each window keeps its own amount and currency pair, so you can leave one comparison visible while working on another. Use Ctrl + Alt + R for quick access to conversion, or open a quick conversion window from the main interface.

Each quick window has its own always-on-top control. The desktop HUD has a separate always-on-top option, so you can decide which information should stay visible.

Optional clipboard number detection

Turn on auto-receive in a quick conversion window, then copy a single number from a webpage. The window detects the copied amount for conversion, reducing repeated manual entry. Manual input remains available when you prefer it.

For example, while comparing an overseas product listing, you can keep a conversion window beside the browser and copy the listed amount into that workflow without opening another calculator tab.

The same workflow is useful with numbers in Excel: choose the currency pair, enable auto-receive, and copy a single amount as you work through a sheet.

Additional currencies and clearer controls

Additional currency lookup is accessible directly from the quick conversion workflow. v1.2 also improves access to quick windows, window identification, and the clarity of exchange-rate sources and update times.

Using the HUD alongside your work

The floating HUD is useful for information you want to keep in view; quick conversion windows handle individual amounts and pairs. You might keep the HUD visible for a general reference, then pin only the quick windows relevant to the prices you're comparing.

RatePeek includes light and dark themes, optional startup with Windows, and English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese interfaces. No additional RatePeek account is required.

Exchange-rate and precious-metals information comes from third-party data services and follows each source's update schedule. Displayed values are reference information, not guaranteed transaction rates. Bank, card, cash and final transaction prices and fees may differ.
