Hello again developer community. It is my second day learning rust. For those who read the previous post, I primary develop in C, C++, NODE.js and Python. I thought I would learn rust because it might be fun to stop using the same languages I am comfortable. The script for today is a basic usage of string variables and printing them out.

fn main() {
    let name = "Gtref";

    println!("{}", name);
}

And this code produces the output:

Gtref

Hello developer community. It is my first day learning rust. For someone like me who knows Most of C and a bit of C++, most who meet me think I should be using rust. But any way, my first script is the simple hello world script.

fn main() {
  println!("Hello, Rust!");
}

Output:

Hello, Rust!

I personally am very excited to see where rust will take me. And in addition, soon I will be releasing a tool written using node js to try combat the confusion related to git merge conflicts.

Hi everyone,
I'm the creator of Satiscode, an open source IDE currently under active development.
The project is focused on creating a lightweight and extensible development environment with support for language servers, packages, themes, and developer tooling.
Current areas where contributors can help:

Language server integration

UI improvements

Documentation

Bug fixing and testing

Whether you're an experienced developer or looking to make your first open source contribution, I'd be happy to have your help.
Repository: https://github.com/gtref/satiscode
If you're interested, open an issue, start a discussion, or submit a pull request.
Thanks for reading!
