We're the team behind Taskbead, and this post introduces it.

Deadlines hide everywhere: a group chat, a sticky note, an email you meant to come back to. Taskbead is a simple, elegant task app that pulls them into one list, and that list clears on every device: your laptop, your phone, your tablet.

👉 Try it free: taskbead.com (Free, no ads, easy sign-up)

Type tasks the way you'd say them

Skip the date picker. Type
essay due fri 3pm #uni
and Taskbead sets the date, the time and the tag before you hit save.
call client tomorrow 10am
,
gym tonight 8pm
and
rent on the 1st
all work too.

Start from a template, not a blank page

Ready-made templates for study, freelance work and teams: a semester planner, exam prep, a client project, a weekly team plan and more. Pick one and the list is ready in a tap.

Share a list with the people who need it

Group project? Shared flat chores? Share a workspace with classmates or teammates (up to 3 people per workspace on the Free plan) and everyone sees the same tasks, with comments right on each task.

A plan in the morning, a recap at night

Turn on the morning plan to get your top tasks for the day, and the evening recap to see what you finished. It's a small habit that keeps things from slipping.

 Everything else you'd want

Files on tasks: attach the brief, the slides or the PDF (stored on secure cloud storage).

Start/Stop timer: see where your time actually goes.

Subtasks: break a big assignment into steps.

Activity log with undo: change your mind? Undo it.

Themes, all free, and 20 languages.

Badges for small wins (private by default).

Works with AI agents: connect your assistant at taskbead.com/mcp.

 Who it's for

Students: assignments, exams, group projects.

Freelancers: client tasks, deadlines and time tracking.

Small teams: shared lists without a heavy project tool.

 What it costs

The Free plan is free for good: unlimited tasks, 3 workspaces, 100 MB of files and sharing with up to 3 people per workspace, and there are no ads. If you need more, Plus is $1.99/month for unlimited workspaces, 10 GB of files and sharing with up to 10 people, and Team adds admin roles and shared storage.

 Try it

Get started at taskbead.com, on the web or installed on your phone. (It also works in Telegram as @TaskBeadBot.)

We'd love your feedback. Tell us in the comments what you'd want next. 🙌
