Criticism
Poor reliability and awkward layoffs
Massive layoffs in 2026 May (https://webflow.com/blog/evolving-webflow-for-the-agentic-web) which they handled very awkwardly with employees, including merely locking them out of their laptops without notice:

Chrome only web app
- From chat, 2017-05-08: Chrome only web app that requires JS. Used to support Firefox but then they explicitly disabled it due to a scrollbar styling issues apparently. [1]
- As of 2024-12-23, Webflow support documentation indicates they supports modern browsers, including Firefox:
βWebflow officially supports the last three major versions of all modern browsers, including Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Make sure youβre using the latest version of whichever browser youβre using to work on your site in Webflow.β
