Overview
[edit]Piet is an Esoteric programming language in which programs are designed to look like abstract art, rather than text.[1] It uses a directional pointer which moves around and [PLACEHOLDER] to decide what command to execute.[citation needed] It is also a stack-based language.
Key Principles
[edit]Piet deals with six different hues and 3 different light levels, making a combined total of eighteen different colors.[citation needed] The command to execute is decided by the change in brightness and hue from the previous color block to the next. A "color block" is defined as any group of the same color connected orthogonally to one another.[citation needed]
