Global quality of the article

I tried to translate this article to French, and therefore I had to understand it semantically and syntactically. It was actually very difficult, so I put a reorganisation query on it. Moutonjr (talk) 19:34, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Misnomer/Misleading

[edit]

The first sentence of the lede goes back to the first drafts and hints at the misdirection of the received name of this topic. Naive understanding would have this be the same as ordinary explanation and in particular to connect with, if not seamlessly, what explanation refers to in general artificial intelligence. This is not the case. It is neither after the fact explanation of how a result was arrived at as in traditional expert systems, and ofc it's not expert explanation of how some system being modeled is to work. Rather explanation refers to the a priori domain theory, assumed as stated to be complete. Lycurgus (talk) 20:00, 23 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
