Belgian Dirk Frimout flew to space in 1992.

[edit]

Is there a reason that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dirk_Frimout is not in the Country list? He is the first Belgian in space, flew to the ISS in 1992. Cobbaut (talk) 10:08, 8 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

Several outdated figures need current sources

[edit]

A few numbers in the article are out of date and I couldn't find single reliable sources to update them without doing my own counting:

  • Shenzhou: "As of March 2025, there have been 14 crewed orbital flights". Xinhua (23 May 2026) calls Shenzhou-23 the 40th flight mission of China's crewed programme, but that total includes uncrewed flights.
  • Soyuz: "153 crewed flights" (as of March 2025).
  • Commercial private spaceflight: Blue Origin "8 crewed flights" (as of November 2024). The section has been tagged for updating since September 2024.
  • "As of 2010, citizens from 38 nations" have flown in space.

Does anyone have a current, single source for any of these (e.g. Space.com, SpaceNews, Reuters, or an agency statistic)? Happy to make the updates once there's something solid to cite. WikiGK16 (talk) 10:40, 24 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
