Release 3.12-5 is available; please update

"Stable release" in the Infobox needs updating, but I don't yet see how to do that. According to https://simh.trailing-edge.com/:

SIMH V3.12-5, updated 16-Jul-2024

The cited ref on "3.12-3" (in the Infobox) also needs to be updated.)

This gets a little involved. The "Classic SIMH" has no new features added, but does have periodic bug fixes and updates. The Open SIMH repository is now up to "Open SIMH V4.1-0 Current" as of "git commit id: 87eb7d5e." They don't appear to be tagging stable releases the way that the Wikipedia infobox expects. They are also tagging the Classic as a branch under the main Open SIMH github. --mikeu ^talk 03:20, 22 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
