'calc.exe' as PoC for exploits
[edit]AFAIK, 'calc.exe' is the de facto Proof of Concept used by security researchers to show that they can execute arbitrary code. Searching in the Metasploit project or on Twitter seems to confirm this. Xjomo (talk) 23:10, 25 September 2015 (UTC)

"still occurs with decimal numbers"
[edit]Today, I checked several examples with rational square roots on Windows 11 Version 25H2 with Calculator version 11.2605.9.0:
- With integers, it was already fixed several years ago.
- An example with finite non-integers: the square root of 2.77777755555556 is correctly displayed as 1.6666666, and subtracting 1.6666666 from it, the result is correctly displayed as 0.
- An example with other rationals: the square root of is correctly rounded to the nearest hundred nonillionth as 0.66666666666666666666666666666667, and subtracting , the correct result (0) is displayed. The same can be observed with higher denominators/numerators like 961 or 1369.
