Howdy, I am an amateur academic who cares about making informed decisions, and for the information behind these decisions to be universally accessible for anyone to use. My current plan is to work in a comfortable academia job, such as doing mathematics research and eventually becoming a professor, and to make academia and other intellectual pursuits/resources more accessible to underserved people in my community. Beyond mathematics, I love philosophy (particularly metaphysics, idealism, and ethics), religion (particularly Buddhism and Christianity, as well as religious experiences), some natural science (like Physics and Biology), and linguistics (such as the foundation of language, Koine Greek and scientific classification).
I come from the American South, and consider myself a Euro-American and Southerner (although of the three, I am most loyal to my American identity). I am also a Christian very much inspired by Leo Tolstoy's life and religious journey, and my primary section of the Bible that I base my life off of is the Sermon on the Mount. I am into philosophy, with Arthur Schopenhauer being my favorite among them all. I currently do not affiliate with any political label or movement, although I align with mutual aid (such as Alcoholics Anonymous), the Christian's churches political and economic impacts (particularly Christianity's impact on Science, Christianity's emphasis on shared property in Acts 2:44-46 and in Christian Monasticism, and the Christian emphasis on our obligation to help the underserved, such as in Luke 3:11), and in other forms of community ownership (like economic Commons). My favorite artists are Bach, Van Gogh, and TV Girl. To the right are the pieces of art from Van Gogh that changed my brain chemistry.
