Boxing enthusiast too (have competed at amateur level). Not as enthusiastic about MMA, but I stay informed about that sport too.
Marxist. Fascinated with the USA's evolving military bureaucracy in tandem with its imperialist designs.
Bit of a gnomer. I mostly like filling out lists, elaborating on vague details, adding dates, and correcting spelling and grammar.
Currently working on improving boxing championship lists, especially the more inclusive "list of world [weight class] boxing champions" pages, which often consist of incorrect dates, missing champions, no sources, a lack of details in title lineages, and inconsistent formatting across the lists; the difference between the world heavyweight champions list (a very well-written article) and the rest is striking to say the least.
Pages I have made
[edit]- List of NYSAC world champions — Created during my first year as a PhD student; first real step in my boxing championship project, fills in a major gap in the documentation of the sport's championship history.
- Eric Rosenbach — Article I made during my first year of undergrad
Below are a bunch of stubs I made when I was maybe thirteen years old
