Conrad Botes is a South African artist known for his satirical and ironic depictions of religion and politics. With fellow artist Anton Kannemeyer, Botes Botes collaborated on the satirical magazine Bitterkomix, featuring cartoon art critical of South African and Afrikaans middleclass white culture.

Botes obtained a Masters degree in fine arts from Stellenbosch Universty in 1997, as well as a diploma in "tweede fase illustasie" from the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1994.
