- I'm not sure exactly what you mean. In general, I would suggest not adding History to country articles. They are usually bloated, and more specific articles will need more attention. CMD (talk) 13:08, 25 October 2026 (UTC)

Hi, just to let you know that I'm running The Asia-Oceania Destubathon in November. £2000 (about AU$3,796.66) in prizes. It would be great to see content improved for Australia and the Pacific region as part of this. I had hoped the Wikimedia Australia chapter could put up prizes for most destubs by territory/state to reinforce the prizes, but at present it's a prize for Australia and a few other areas. Sign up if interested, I'm sure there are a lot of stale old Australia articles needing destubbing! If it is a success, perhaps next year we could do something specifically for Australia or regional Pacific. Thanks.♦ Dr. Blofeld 14:10, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
Judging Talk page content to be AI
[edit]Hello there. I'm curious what led you to deem this Talk page contribution to be AI-generated. Largoplazo (talk) 12:55, 27 October 2026 (UTC)
- @Largoplazo The entire construction of that comment is very typical of LLM generations, including the peppering of various policies, the bulleted structure, and the way it does a mini-essay of introduction body conclusion. This particular generation was lazy enough that point 6 is talking about the title of a reference. CMD (talk) 13:16, 27 October 2026 (UTC)
- Mmmm ... I guess I can at least understand your suspicion based on the other policies, though your point about point 6 clinches it. Cool. Actually, I would add that it seems unusual for someone with enough Wikipedia exposure to be conversant with policies and their shortcuts to then leave them unlinked. They look naked. Largoplazo (talk) 12:09, 28 October 2026 (UTC)
- Most LLM posts I see do link them. My assumption here is that the user here somehow pasted the LLM output in plain text. CMD (talk) 12:22, 28 October 2026 (UTC)
