User talk:Elli
Add topicHi! This is my talk page, feel free to drop me a message. To experienced editors: feel free to stalk my talk page and reply to any threads here.To admins: I prefer that my talk page remain unprotected, even if it's being vandalized. Such edits do not particularly bother me and I prefer to remain accessible to anyone who would like to reach me. However, if the volume of vandalism is so high that no other solution would stop disruption, I don't mind if my talk page is semi-protected for a day or two. Hopefully, this is a rare occurrence.
The Glow.

Hi Elli --38Sauh83 (talk) 17:01, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
are you AI? Second, a user is reverting all the changes I am editing and then deleting them. What type of recourse is there for this? Many sentences are left intact from previous users which are wrong, and not cited, but the edits that I make are apparently worth deleting. This is a frustrating thing which does make me want to just give up on editing for Wikipedia altogether --38Sauh83 (talk) 17:02, 19 October 2026 (UTC)
- @38Sauh83 sorry about the late response. I'm not AI. Your edits were seemingly reverted for copyright issues. Getting reverted can be very frustrating, but unfortunately, this is a very important policy, and most editors do not have enough time to remedy copyright violations by rewriting the content (so, they just remove it). Elli (talk | contribs) 14:27, 25 October 2026 (UTC)
- only 1 of the edits i made, a summary of Manthānabhairava Tantra sourced from wisdomlib, which might have been in copyright, might not, likely it was written by AI and not in any copyright violation, the rest of all the edits I made were well researched, yet everything was deleted. This is wrong. 38Sauh83 (talk) 18:54, 31 October 2026 (UTC)

Administrators' newsletter – November 2026
[edit]News and updates for administrators from the past month (October 2026).

- Following an RfC, election to ArbCom now requires at least 60% support. Successful candidates normally serve two-year terms, with one-year terms retained for filling vacancies. Proposals to change the election rules may now be added throughout the year and discussed on the talk page; formal discussion remains in September.
- Following an RfC, first-time reviewers’ reviews require an experienced reviewer’s check, and GA requirements now include alt text and accessible tables. Featured articles may receive GA status during removal discussions if they meet GA criteria. Backlog drives will run every five months, with a points leaderboard and awards for the top five participants.
- Self-nominations for the Arbitration Committee are open until 11 November 2026.
- Ongoing backlog drives: Copy editing, Unreference articles
