- Canned header message, canned sign off, duplicating the entire paragraph, random bolding, and not understanding notability. I can't be certain but it smells rather Claude. I use Claude for my job and I have a lot of experience reading Claude output. Of course, the temp account can dispute and reopen if they so wish, but they should probably read WP:Help, I've been accused of using AI! first. guninvalid (talk) 21:46, 9 July 2026 (UTC)

Hello, I'm writing as my draft for Wiki page for company Viberate was again declined, deemed written by AI. This second try was written by a human copywriter freelancer, hired to create the article, based on my brief and my preparation of all the sources relevant for the Wikipedia article. Here was only human work, as in the first try, where based on all the things gathered manually I used AI so that the article would look professional and adhere to Wikipedia rules. As I respect that the articles must be human written I hired a (human) copywriter to do the job. Specifically when collaborating with the copywriter he assured that it is humanly written by him. I can provide proof of communication in private if needed.
What must be now done for the article to be accepted, so I know how to proceed. Thank you for understanding.
Kind regards, Kristian/Viberate
KristianVBR (talk) 19:00, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hello @KristianVBR. Several problems.
- 1. Please do not use LLMs to talk for you, either. We want to hear from you, not Gemini (or Claude or ChatGPT or whichever model you're using).
- 2. I acknowledge that I cannot be certain whether your draft was actually LLM generated or not. That being said, even if it is written from scratch by a human copywriter — and I'd advise you to verify your copywriter's writing process —, there are still other issues with the draft.
- 3. Some of your sources are dead links which is a serious sign of AI generation Finance (Slovenia) seems like a reliable source, but it doesn't seem to be about Viberate or music at all, at least based on the machine translation I scrolled through. One of your MBW sources is an interview with UMEK, meaning it does not establish notability. The other MBW source covering your data publication however is fine, as it is based on your reporting rather than simply being your reporting, so it counts as secondary and reliable. But you would need 2-3 other reliable sources before a draft can be accepted.
- 4. Unless you, Kristian, are your copywriter, please ask your copywriter to use a separate Wikipedia account and do not simply paste their words on their behalf. It is prohibited for multiple people to operate one Wikipedia account.
- 5. Please ask your copywriter to write your article from scratch. There are other tells of AI in your draft and it's likely that your copywriter included those through osmosis, which tells me they don't understand how to write a Wikipedia article. Generally speaking, it is best to construct a new Wikipedia article backwards starting with sources, rather than writing content and sourcing later. Give your copywriter your sources and then let them write the article from scratch, or, better yet, wait for your company to become notable enough for someone without a COI to finally take an interest.
- 6. Finally, please read WP: Autobiographies. There are reasons why you might not even want a Wikipedia article. You do not own your Wikipedia page, and any controversy that is made public about your company is likely to be added there and stay there indefinitely. If you tried to remove it, you would likely see fierce resistance and end up being blocked from editing. guninvalid (talk) 23:13, 11 July 2026 (UTC)
- Hello!
- Thank you very much for your reply and time taken to review my comment. It is of course written by me, now worries here. I'll take into account what you suggested - I did start with collecting sources, so I'll start again this way as well.
- Re teh sources - are the Digital Music News sources and other sources such as Dancing astronaut, IQ magazine, CNN, EDM.com,... also good? I've pulled as much as I can in my table of sources and will do another try, hopefully this time it will be accepted. Thanks again!
- Kind regards,

Articles for Creation backlog drive
[edit]
Hello Guninvalid:
WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive in August!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than a month of outstanding reviews from the current 3+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 August 2026 through 31 August 2026.
You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.
Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

Using a site that has incorrect info on it
[edit]There is a clear misunderstanding regarding the count of Cascades ALC-42E units. The claim of a third unit stems from misinterpreting factory test sightings of Amtrak #70004.
Locomotive #70004 is built and painted for standard Amtrak Phase VII Northeast Regional / NEC services. Recent factory updates confirm it was temporarily coupled to a Cascades trainset on the test track purely to provide head-end power (HEP) during factory diagnostics. It is not part of the Amtrak Cascades order allocation. https://www.reddit.com/r/trains/comments/1utyz4o/alc42e_with_park_avenue_escape_windscreen/
The true Cascades-assigned locomotive count remains at exactly 2 units (#70001 and #70002). Relying on a fan blog (https://www.on-track-on-line.com/amtkrinf-airo.shtml) that misidentifies an NEC locomotive as a Cascades unit violates WP:RS. I am expecting you to correct the Cascades ALC42E unit count to 2 and find an alternate site that states the right info to maintain factual accuracy." [edit]Hi @Guninvalid. I have submitted again the draft of Shen Xiaoting, in which I have corrected all the issues of LLM that you have mentioned previously. I'd like you to take a look at it again if you can. Thank you! Techgamer534 (talk) 18:55, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Did you correct your llm by rewriting it from scratch from the sources? guninvalid (talk) 19:09, 1 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @Guninvalid. Yes, I took the entire text, pasted it into a document on my personal computer (to avoid any errors), rewrote several parts in my own words (and also modified the reference's names), and finally, pasted the finished text into the draft. I think it looks good this time, and I hope it can actually be published now. Thanks for your reply. Greetings. Techgamer534 (talk) 21:42, 1 August 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for your contributions to Egya Ahor. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because it consists of machine-generated text and unreliable reliable references (such as wikipedia itself) and formality/npov issues. I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Sulfurboy (talk) 05:53, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
FYI, I moved this back to draftspace that you accepted out of AfC as it's almost entirely machine generated, sources wikipedia, and has some pretty concerning tone and NPOV issues. Sulfurboy (talk) 05:54, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- I had a feeling once I actually looked at the revision history, but that was only after I had already accepted it. I figured once I accepted it, it's out of my hands at least in the short term. Thanks for catching that. guninvalid (talk) 06:20, 3 August 2026 (UTC)
- Mistakes happen. I make them too. I had an accepted article draftified for a mistake I made just two days ago. Maybe in the future, if you do start to have doubts after accepting, either hit it with maintenance tags, or ask another reviewer on their talk page their thoughts. Either way, thanks for your help with AfC reviewing. Sulfurboy (talk) 06:38, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Huening Bahiyyih's submitting
[edit]Hello @Guninvalid. I have submitted the draft of Huening Bahiyyih, in which I have made some improvements. I have significantly revised this draft to establish individual notability (WP:MUSIC) through extensive coverage in independent, reliable sources such as DAZED Korea and GQ Korea. The article now relies exclusively on high-quality third-party references (for example, NME, Korea JoongAng Daily, etc.), adheres to a strictly neutral and encyclopedic tone devoid of promotional language, and follows all technical formatting guidelines. I'd like you to take a look at it if you can. Thank you! Techgamer534 (talk) 20:46, 4 August 2026 (UTC)

Hi Guninvalid, thanks for reviewing Draft:Cycle & Carriage Malaysia.
I noticed the draft was set to rejected rather than declined. Could you clarify if the primary concern is standalone notability under WP:SUBSIDIARY / WP:ORGANIZATION regarding parent entity Jardine Cycle & Carriage?
If the concern is sourcing, I have worked to clean up promotional technical details and can provide additional independent, secondary coverage (books, financial press, business reporting). Would you be open to reverting the rejection back to a standard decline so the draft can be improved? ZenAutoDrive (talk) 05:44, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
- WP:SUBSIDIARY does not exist. Do not use LLMs to talk for you. See WP:NEWLLM and WP:NORG. guninvalid (talk) 06:20, 11 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Guninvalid, thanks for coming back to clarify and for pointing me to WP:BACKWARD and WP:NORG. I appreciate the direct guidance.
- I understand the core issue now—I need to build strictly from independent, secondary sources rather than assembling company or dealer announcements.
- Before working further on sources, would you be willing to un-reject the draft (changing it to a decline) so I can rewrite it properly using independent coverage, or would you recommend starting fresh once the sources are gathered? Thanks again for your time! ZenAutoDrive (talk) 02:08, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- As much as I don't want you to waste even more reviewer time, I also don't want you to waste even more of your own time. So, please finish the first step of WP:BACKWARD and send me a message when you have. In other words, please provide your three (3) best sources for your subject that meet reliable sourcing guidelines. If at least one of them clears WP:RS, I will un-reject your draft. I can't verify that any of your current sources clear that hurdle because none of them have links, but AutoBuzz Malaysia seems like it could be a good place to start. guninvalid (talk) 02:48, 13 August 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Guninvalid, thanks for giving me the opportunity to verify the sources. Here are 3 independent, reliable secondary sources with direct URLs covering Cycle & Carriage's operations:
- 1. AutoBuzz Malaysia (Leapmotor distribution partnership): https://autobuzz.my/2026/06/04/cycle-carriage-appointed-as-leapmotor-malaysias-distribution-partner/
- 2. Paul Tan's Automotive News (Kia Glenmarie 3S Centre launch): https://paultan.org/2026/07/03/cycle-carriage-kia-glenmarie-3s-centre-opened/
- 3. New Straits Times (Peugeot dealership appointment & brand expansion): https://www.nst.com.my/business/corporate/2024/08/1090123/cycle-carriage-expands-multi-brand-footprint-peugeot-dealership
- Please let me know if these clear WP:RS so we can change the draft status to a decline and update the text accordingly. Thanks again! ZenAutoDrive (talk) 02:06, 17 August 2026 (UTC)
- Apologies for the broken links above! Here are the updated, direct URLs to the 3 independent secondary sources for verification:
- 1. AutoBuzz Malaysia (Leapmotor distribution partnership): https://autobuzz.my/2026/06/04/cycle-carriage-appointed-as-leapmotor-malaysias-distribution-partner/
- 2. Paul Tan's Automotive News (Leapmotor Glenmarie 3S dealership): https://paultan.org/2026/04/09/cycle-carriage-opens-flagship-leapmotor-glenmarie-outlet-the-ev-brands-first-full-fledged-3s-dealership/
- 3. Paul Tan's Automotive News (Stellantis & Peugeot partnership): https://paultan.org/2024/08/01/cycle-carriage-stellantis-partnership/
- Thanks again for taking a look! ZenAutoDrive (talk) 02:26, 17 August 2026 (UTC)
- @ZenAutoDrive, I have no reason to assume that paultan.org is a reliable source, particularly when the published articles are written by someone named Danny Tan, possibly related to Paul. Additionally, going through their About paultan page, I don't see any listed editorial staff or even ownership names, just the copyright at the bottom. At the very least, I find it likely that paultan.org is a self-published source and therefore cannot constitute notability. AutoBuzz Malaysia though is probably fine. You'll need to find another 2-3+ sources for acceptance. But for now, I'll uphold my end of the deal. guninvalid (talk) 06:19, 17 August 2026 (UTC)
- Alright, I've unrejected, but I've also stubified the article down to a single sentence with references. While I'm here, a corporate history of itself is not a reliable source, as it would be considered WP:PRIMARY. The Singapore Stock Exchange sources are also not considered reliable, as these are considered WP:ROUTINE coverage. Please make sure you understand the basics of WP:BACKWARD and how to apply it here. If you need any more help, feel free to reach out to the AfC help desk or the Teahouse. Thanks, and happy editing! guninvalid (talk) 06:29, 17 August 2026 (UTC)
- To clarify, if you would like to revert my stubify, you can revert my edit. However, I strongly discourage you from doing so. I meant it when I said you really need to start over from scratch. So much of this would need to be removed anyway that it's easier for you to just start over. It doesn't have to be long, it just has to be notable. guninvalid (talk) 06:32, 17 August 2026 (UTC)
- In hindsight, closing your comment was probably too hasty and definitely at least a little rude. But @ZenAutoDrive, you're constructing your draft completely the wrong way. Please read WP:BACKWARD. guninvalid (talk) 21:46, 11 August 2026 (UTC)

- Sometimes here, sometimes there. Due to the backlog drive, the older drafts are usually more difficult, so that's why I usually review from the front.By the way, in this edit, you added the same url to a different source. Could you fix that? Kovcszaln6 (talk) 09:09, 16 August 2026 (UTC)

AfC August Backlog Drive: Only ten days left!
[edit]
Hi Guninvalid, thanks for participating in the Articles for Creation August Backlog Drive! We've done amazing work so far, dropping the backlog by more than 3000 drafts already. We have around 1300 drafts outstanding, and we need your help to get that down to zero in the next 10 days. We can do this, but we need all hands on deck to help make it happen – if everyone who signed up to the drive reviewed just 1–2 drafts a day for the next ten days, we'd be down to zero in no time! A list of the pending drafts can be found at WP:AFCSORT, where you can select submissions in your area of interest, or you can find a random submission here. Thank you so much for your work so far, and happy reviewing! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 21 August 2026 (UTC)
Draft:2026 Akçamezra Tornado
[edit]- Recordkeeping note: This topic relates to Draft:2026 Akçamezra Tornado.
Hi guninvalid
Thank you for reviewing my draft. I would appreciate a bit guidance to make sure I fix the right issues before I resubmit the draft.
Could you clarify which specific section or sources triggered the decline? Was the main issue the sounding/meteorology section (potential WP:OR/WP:SPS concern) or is the overall independent media coverage (WP:EVENT) still considered insufficient?
If I trim down the sounding data and focus more on secondary news coverage (damage reports, local statements) would that address your concerns?

Briefly looking over your sources again, you have a tweet which is not reliable for the same reason as facebook Most of your other sources are from May and don't demonstrate lasting coverage. I do see Ensonhaber and Turkey Gazette, which might be notable. But you'll need to resubmit if you want another reviewer (not me) to perform a rereview. guninvalid (talk) 19:14, 28 August 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Mariusz Szypura, rewritten per your WP:BACKWARD note
[edit]Hello, and thank you for your review of Draft:Mariusz Szypura on 27 August. I rewrote the draft from scratch as you suggested (WP:BACKWARD): every statement now comes from what independent sources wrote, the résumé-style sections and affiliated references are gone. After resubmission it was declined the same day by another reviewer for notability, without comment on the sources. Since you had found the subject notable, would you be willing to take another look when you have a moment? I have added English translations of the titles and key quotations to the citations, and a 15-minute TVP World studio segment about the project (WP:MUSICBIO criterion 12), so the sources should now be easier to assess. I am the subject of the article and my COI is disclosed on my user page. No rush, and thank you either way. MariuszSzypura (talk) 13:21, 6 September 2026 (UTC)

Hi Guninvalid, thank you for reviewing Draft:Millie Moon. I understand that you rejected the submission on notability grounds. Further research has identified two additional sources that may warrant consideration alongside the existing references:
The existing candidates include Reuters’ August 2025 industry report and Reviewed’s dedicated product review. Would these sources, considered together, provide grounds to reconsider the rejection, or do they still fall short of WP:NCORP? I will leave the draft unsubmitted pending your advice. | |

[edit]Confused by this edit. Why wouldn't I1 be expected? Nyttend (talk) 13:38, 22 September 2026 (UTC)
- WP:F1 would be expected. The rest are F2, F8, etc. guninvalid (talk) 17:57, 22 September 2026 (UTC)
- But why not I1? Presumably there are I criteria for the other numbers. We have such shortcuts for most or all criteria, and it would have been odd to delete the I shortcuts when the criteria were renamed a few years ago. Nyttend (talk) 00:39, 25 September 2026 (UTC)
- I wasn't aware of any of that history. It does make sense that the I tags exist, but I was confused why the F1 shortcut wasn't used for criteria F1. It makes sense that I1 is also a secondary shortcut, but I was confused why F1 was not the primary tag. But it makes sense that F1 hits Formula One instead, so if anyone else is confused by the shortcut, they can see that disclaimer as well. guninvalid (talk) 00:45, 25 September 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for everything
[edit]Hello, I wanted to thank you for your help regarding the article on "Nevenka Košutić Brozović." However, something has been weighing on my mind since then. An AfD process was initiated by a user who had only 28 edits and subsequently disappeared. Following that, another user—whose account had been created on September 9th, closed the discussion on the (AI) noticeboard and moved several of my articles to the draft namespace. Those articles were translations concerning Eastern European women; they had previously received barnstars and had been reviewed by experienced editors, including some administrators. I am Multilingual (listed on my user page), and when writing about female art historians, I am thoroughly familiar with the specialized terminology of the field. I am not aware of the exact extent of AI usage on Wikipedia, but it seems its prevalence has led to some multilingual editors falling victim to this situation. Honestly, these circumstances have left me disheartened and burnt out, causing me to step away from editing for a while. It is striking how these processes work, and how apparently anyone can undo the hard work of multiple contributors simply by leveling accusations of AI usage. If you have the time, I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on this matter. Thanks again for everything. Sajjadmrt (talk) 15:33, 13 October 2026 (UTC)
- This was one of the reasons I wrote User:guninvalid/Even if it's not AI, it's still slop. I have noticed that I decline far fewer drafts for AI than I used to, because the usual AI tells simply don't work for me anymore. I can't prove you're not using AI in your work, but I haven't seen any evidence that you did after July. It definitely was a mistake to do so in July, but in my opinion, your contributions since then more than make up for it. I think I'll bring this up at WP:DRV later today. guninvalid (talk) 17:23, 13 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi Saji, I've had another look through your logs and it did raise some concerns. Pauline Peugniez and Trudelies Leonhardt seem to have all their references in French and Italian, and neither language is listed on your userpage. If, for example, this was translated from German Wikipedia and German Wikipedia got it from French Wikipedia, that would be fine, but the lack of attribution doesn't help. For more recent articles I've noticed you put your attribution, so it might be worth going back and adding it retroactively to your previous articles. I disagree with some of the arguments in your thread at AIN (how does Hi. Thanks. look AI generated??), but I think the ultimate outcome is reasonable, only draftifying your creations in languages not listed on your userpage. How's this: there are particular drafts that you feel should not have been draftified, then submit them for rereview, send me a message, and I'll review them. I don't think WP:DRV may be necessary at this stage, unless there are a lot of drafts to go through. guninvalid (talk) 18:17, 13 October 2026 (UTC)

AfD relisting for Company related topics
[edit]- Recordkeeping note: This topic relates to Wikipedia: Articles for deletion/GLO Airlines.
You've relisted an AfD discussion for GLO Airlines with a comment that you'd be inclined to close as no consensus. That's a concern. Can you provide reasoning for that? Do you think the Keep !voters have demonstrated arguments which rely on policy/guidelines and have identified sources which contain indepth independent content about the company? HighKing++ 09:32, 28 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi @HighKing, I'll be upfront. Yesterday was my first time mass-closing AfD discussions in an administrative capacity, and I learnt a lot doing it and asking @asilvering to review my work over Discord. I'll be upfront that I did not read the discussion carefully; I was really only going off of counting !votes and discussion timestamps. But having read it closer, I stand by my close. It does look like a early pile-on in favor of Keep with somewhat weak reasoning, and I definitely wish someone had just posted a WP:THREE sources list. This being said, there is enough agreement with the keep !votes that the two redirect !votes aren't enough to fully override consensus. Even with the new redirect !vote since, I still think this is a no consensus. But going forward, I'll probably refrain from closing AfD discussions if I don't need to. asilvering suggested that more help is needed as a AfD participant than a closer, so I may lean towards placing my own !votes moreso in the future. Oh whale. guninvalid (talk) 00:14, 29 October 2026 (UTC)
- Hi guninvalid I very much appreciate the honesty - if you need any help with NCORP-related AfDs, just reach out. NCORP is a particularly persnickety strict implementation of GNG, and I agree that most NCORP-AfD participants need help, which is why I try to include an explanation/interpretation of CORPDEPTH/ORGIND in my !vote. You say that you still think there is a no consensus, but if you look closer, you'll find there is no substance behind the Keep !votes, and this is where NCORP-AfD's are tricky and where admins look closely when closing.
- For example, Bushranger has a bald assertion that it "meets GNG" but later requests/suggests that the article should be redirected which I and scope-creep agree with. But also, the argument that Bushranger puts forward is that interviews count towards notability and he has been pointed to specific policy/guidelines why that isn't so. On that basis, absent a rebuttal, you cannot give weight to Bushrangers !vote.
- We look at Grid - another bald !vote with no justification based on the content of sources. Later, points to articles with interviews which as we've discussed, fail NCORP. I've tried to engage and I've requested that people point to specific content with some precision rather than vaguely pointing to entire sources, and to date, nothing.
- Then you look at Let'srun who engaged with my request to point to content but argues that "the totality" is sufficient, which breaches WP:SIRS.
- Finally, we have Avgeemamot who reiterates that interviews can be used, but doesn't point to any guideline/policy to support that view.
- It isn't a case (or shouldn't be the case) that a participant votes one way, engages in a discussion where a flaw in their reasoning or understanding of NCORP guidelines is pointed out, refuses to acknowledge that flaw or change their !vote, therefore that !vote is weighed and counted. I fear that is, perhaps, what you might be tempted to do here. As a closer at NCORP AfD, the *arguments* must be weighed against our NCORP guidelines and other guidelines and policies. The question that a closer should ask at NCORP AfDs are, have the !voters argued with reference to policies/guidelines over specific content? Are there discussions over specific content? Has there been engagement at the AfD after pushback? Have sources been identified which meet NCORP content requirements? If that hasn't happened, it cannot be a Keep. If the Keep !voters have not rebutted any of the Delete !voters arguments with reference to policies/guidelines, then there shouldn't be any weight attached to those !votes either, that leans towards Delete. If there is discussion and pushback which appears based on interpretation of guidelines/policies, then that's room for No Consensus. Now, I'm not an admin and it is a tough job, and I might not agree with every decision, but I think for the most part, admins are pretty good at the NCORP AfDs and weighing the discussion/arguments. Anyway, if you need help with anything at NCORP AfDs, shout out. HighKing++ 09:43, 29 October 2026 (UTC)
