See already-existing discussion of recent bad edits in multiple threads at User talk:CitationCleanerBot. I do not understand why we are seeing the same edits from a different bot but they are equally bad and equally should be stopped, if necessary by blocking the bot. —David Eppstein (talk) 23:36, 22 June 2026 (UTC)

Please have the bot not edit pages marked as AfC under review

I marked a page as under review for AfC and was editing it, and when I tried to publish, it had an edit conflict. It turned out that this bot had edited the page even though it had the template on it. Could you please make the bot not edit articles with this template? Here's a link to the revision in question. doi-access when it's already in the ref template

Hi. I've noticed the bot is adding "doi-access= " and adding "mark free doi" in the Edit summary, in refs already with that parameter.

Here's a couple of examples: Lewis Wolpert, Simons Foundation Autism Research Initiative, Zena Werb
